Plans and manages the schedules and tasks assignments of the team Leads the team while ensuring proper training and development in accordance with department’s guidelines; monitors daily operations activities, performance management and evaluates competencies Applies proficient behavioral modification techniques. This includes, but is not limited in developing and implementing new behavior, training of naïve animals with minimum supervision, training behavior to completion without supervision, proactively maintaining conditioned behavior, and the ability to form relationships with most, if not all, of the animals in assigned area. Maintains and improves the high standards of animal care and welfare at SWAD facilities that meet or exceed all professional zoo/aquarium accreditation standards
