The NCE is in line with the effort of the government for a stronger national human capital in mobilizing the economic workforce of the country.
“The exhibition plays a great role in promoting Emiratization initiatives and providing job opportunities for excellent Emirati citizens at government and private institutions and entities,” affirmed Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of Expo Centre Sharjah.
i12WRK, the leading online job portal in the UAE, was among the private entities that participated in the three-day expo.
“i12WRK is here to support the Emiratization program,” Michelle Caponpon, Communications Manager at i12WRK, explained in one of the promotional videos for the expo. She shared that it is their hope to help locals seal employment through their go-to platform, connecting seekers and providers in the simplest and most efficient way.
Michelle also assured that since the i12WRK mobile app and website are equipped with top-of-the-line technology, jobs are geo-located which enables seekers save time and money in their application.
Some of the job opportunities opened in the expo included retail, engineering, administration, information technology, customer service, banking and finance, among others.
