Dubai Expo 2020 to support 49,700 jobs per annum
New opportunities and industry boom
Expo 2020 Dubai, is expected to attract $22bn (AED122.6bn) into the UAE economy, according to an independent report published earlier this year.
The Expo is expected to create as many as 49,700 jobs per annum in the country, on average, peaking at around 94,400 jobs during the event.
Expo 2020 expects to attract 25 million visits, with an unprecedented 70 per cent of visitors expected to come from outside the UAE. The resulting boost to Dubai's hotels, restaurants and retail during the mega event will be great. However, there is a lot more to a successful Expo than that. Expo 2020 will brighten job prospects in legal, tax and accounts, finance, and human resources fields - especially in pharmaceutical, FMCG, retail, hospitality, construction and boutique investment firms.
With a little over 14 months to go, the 'world's greatest show' is set to unfold unparalleled opportunities for all.
